  • Ann Cunter claims that the new Star Trek Film has too many minorities
Conservative commentator Ann Coulter walked out of a screening of Star Trek: Into Darknesslast night, saying that the science fiction adventure had “too many minorities.”

According to witnesses at Regal Cinemas in New York, the controversial author was seen cursing out the screen and exiting about half an hour into the picture.

In an interview on Sean Hannity’s radio show today Coulter defended her actions saying that liberal Hollywood had lost touch with average Americans.

“Apparently in the future the liberals have extinguished all the white people,” Coulter explained, “I mean they got a black girl running the communications, an Asian guy driving the ship and a pointy-eared alien doing pretty much everything else.

“I guess we’re supposed to just accept that minorities will be the new majority. This isn’t an entertainment film - it’s nothing but a pro-Obama, multicultural piece of propaganda.

“And of course its not even realistic. Since when have black people been able to speak foreign languages? And shouldn’t Sulu have crashed the ship into a quasar by now?”

    Yesterday’s Enterprise

The Star Trek franchise has a long history of promoting multiculturalism since its inception in the 1960’s. It broke ground with a multi-racial cast and notably featured the first television kiss between a black and a white character.

The current film, which opened yesterday, is a reboot directed by J.J. Abrams featuring the characters from the original series. Critics have praised the film, but rarely mentioned its politics - a point which also confused host Sean Hannity.

“Now Ann, you know I love you,” a puzzled Hannity said, “but I’ve seen the film, and although there were minorities, there were also plenty of whites. So I guess I don’t see your problem.”

“Sean, the only other white people are foreigners,” she retorted, “you got one Communist from Moscow and a lazy, socialist engineer from Scotland. There’s only one red-blooded American white person in the whole movie - and thank god he’s the captain. The ship would fall apart in minutes without him.

“And Spock? The actor’s gay, and the character is ‘Vulcan’ - which is code for Jewish. But its not just the characters. The whole Star Trek thing is a socialist plot to brainwash our children.

“I mean no one actually owns the ship, no one gets paid any money, everybody’s ‘equal’. And they’ve been flying up there for years and still haven’t seen God yet. Karl Marx would have been proud Sean.”

Say hello to the ‘Butterfly of the Sea’ also known as a Sea Robin or Gurnard. An odd looking fish, this species is a bottom dweller, they live on the sea floor and can actually “walk” along underwater by alternatively moving its pelvic fins and short pectoral fin rays. It’s not related to flying fish, nor do they glide in air, the large pectoral fins are normally held against the body but are spread out when threatened to put off predators.

They be like Ooh, let them eat cake
But we eat wings and throw them bones on the ground

Am I a freak for dancing around? (queen)
Am I a freak for getting down? (queen)
I’m cutting up, don’t cut me down
Yeah I wanna be, wanna be

Is it peculiar that she twerk in the mirror?
And am I weird to dance alone late at night?
And is it true we’re all insane?
And I just tell ‘em No we ain’t” and get do

Even if it makes others uncomfortable, I will love who I am.

Why are people hating on Sheryl Underwood?!  She’s the boldest of them all!  The same folks who are right there with the rest of us upset how black women’s hair often isn’t considered “professional” or “acceptable” by white America, how we have to hide it, straighten it, do whatever it to it to conform are THE SAME PPL now saying “NOOOOOO SHERYL!  OH THEY PLAYED YOU!!!  WHYYY SHERYL!!!”  WTF?  Why are you talking out two sides of your mouth? You want us to be free from constraints and pressure, yet as soon as someone takes of their wig, now they’re fuckin’ up, lookin’ busted.

Have you ever worn a wig before?  Do you really expect Sheryl’s hair to look like she just came out the salon immediately after taking off something that’s been compressing it?  COME ON.

You think think the other three took out all their extensions?  Nope.  Whereas it was impossible for Sheryl to take out only a part of her wig…the whole thing had to come off.  Sheryl’s the only one showing her real hair in full, her short, salt-and-pepper, messy, beautiful hair and look at her face!  SO FREE!  Her entire says gesture says, “This is me. Enjoy.”

I didn’t watch the segment, but this entire gifset is great, ESPECIALLY Sheryl Underwood.  And as for the black folks feeling embarrassed or laughing bc of what Sheryl decided to do, you need to re-assess your life and realize how much you’re probably contributing to the problem when you react like this.  I can’t with that BS.  You’re either down or you’re not.

I didnt know people were actually mad at her. I thought the same thing at those other women. Idk about Aisha but The two in the first gif got a head full of tracks, please do not think they took out the only one they were wearing. SHeryl’s hair actually looks really good for having been under a wig. I love her eyes and smile, she just radiates from within. She was the most honest and hers was the most powerful act in my opinion. Black women reclaiming their bodies and spaces as they see fit (wig or no wig), being unafraid to be present, not caring what you think in the action they chose to take and reclaiming agency….is so revolutionary and powerful. How could hate her for this?
